At the end of May, Parks Canada revealed their much-discussed interim policy on GeoCaching.
The one big item-of-note for traditional GeoCachers is this:
Physical geocaching is now posted as a prohibited activity in all Parks
Canada-administered protected heritage areas, in order to provide a
regulatory and compliance mechanism for managing the activity.
Since this is an interim policy, and due to be reviewed at
the end of the year, Parks Canada is very interested in your thoughts
and opinions about GeoCaching in a National Park, as well as their
policy.
One other item to note is that this policy MAY be used as a guideline
for other government levels to control GeoCaching in their
administrative areas. This could include provincial, city and county
administrated areas. If they consider leaving geocaches an act of
littering, GeoCaching may become very different from what it is now. So
it's important to the GeoCaching community that we all take some time
to comment on the policy. Check out the most recent Minsters Round Table on Parks Canada and see what recommendations they made.
To that end, we've agreed to their request to link to that policy, as
well as list the email address that you can send your feedback to:

Hack: Displaying Google Maps through GeoCaching.com
GeoCaching.com isn't directly supporting Google Maps yet . In the meantime, here's a cool little hack Firefox users can use to integrate Google Maps into pages created by GeoCaching.com's site. It sounds confusing, but read the message threads here and all will become clear...It is a very cool hack.
