I'm sure we'll come up with some fresh ideas in the new year. For now, here's a shameless attempt to stimulate interest in the moving cache, Nomad.
The challenge: Be the first to log two new finds of Nomad. That is, you must find it, hide it, wait for someone else to find and re-hide it, then you find it again. _________________ |

Sure, here's my FTF. Found it, hid it, re-found it and re-hid it.
Or do I have to get it one more time...

Congrats. You did it! And it only took more than a whole year for someone to achieve this. I'm actually more surprised that you bothered to read this old thread to find out about the contest.
Well then, ricklep, do you have a challenge or assignment for us to shoot for next? Here are the steps to take:
1. Create a new thread titled CWAP - 'x'.
2. Make it a sticky (see the options at the bottom of the thread creation page).
3. Clearly state the goals of the CWAP challenge. Don't be alarmed if people backlash if it sounds unreasonable. (Or was it only Mr. Speedy who did that?)
4. Come back to this current thread and post a short message with a link to the the URL of the new thread.
If you need any more help, just pm me for assistance. _________________ |

Hey, I forgot to use smilies when I said that !
Actually, I've probably been the most reactive in this game (through sheer competetiveness).
I've got a cool idea for a future CWAP = be first to find all of Speedy's Edmonton caches. I assume 1001001 is still active but I haven't received any logs via watchlist notices for a very long time.
Speedy: make any new puzzle caches out east yet? _________________ |

No problem, ricklep. One learns these things only by taking the time to explore all the different things you can click on.
GRAND SLAM NOMAD is the newest challenge.
Sounds very interesting, especially since BHT and I plan on hitting St. Albert tomorrow night and might be inclined to pick Nomad up. _________________ |

The "Sticky" option is only available to forum moderators and site administrators. _________________

You know, I thought that was the case but I recall a non-admin stickying his own GPS Games thread which I delayed unstickying for the longest time until it really died from inactivity. And I thought RT and rawspirit were able to sticky their own CWAP threads so long ago.
Am I just losing my mind? Probably _________________ |
